Usually, when one of your buddies gives you a call and says he needs a logo, you run away. But when my buddy Ricardo called and told me what he wanted to do, I was so excited I got to work. I wanted to pay homage to my culture and background without cluttering it up with too many visuals. I wanted the story to be told with color and type.
